In your case it seems to have opted for the SSID that you use for the 5 GHz wifi. This may be because that is the "device name" of your router. You can read abut that in this bit of the manual Change the Router’s Device Name. Your PC is not connecting to the 5 GHz wifi, and you cannot get your wired LAN to connect to it.
I always solve that using 3 ways: 1- press windows + X --> device manager --> disable wait a bit then enable the device. (the best way) 2- uninstall the device then restart the windows. (windows 10 will automatically update it). 3- just restart once (wait a bit) if it did not work restart it twice. (always working)

Solution 1: Ensure that your wireless device has obtained a proper IP address. Solution 2: Forget or remove your previous wireless networks. Solution 3: Change the SSID (wireless network name) Solution 4: Change the wireless channel. Solution 5: Change the security mode and the encryption.

2. go to Network adapters 3. go to your wifi adapter mine is called "Edimax EW-7833UAC AC1750" 4. go to properties 5. go to advanced tab 6. go down to "Wireless Mode" 7. With Device Manager open, look for the network adapters category and expand it by selecting the small “ + ” or arrow symbol if it isn’t already open. Look for the network adapter in question—Right-click on it and select Properties. Now, check under the status section whether it says “this device is working properly.”.

I recently purchased a Tenda U12 USB wifi adapter for my desktop PC, and it is killing me. The 5 GHz network is terribly unstable (it works well on any other device). It often drops the connection, won't connect to the network. Now it started doing that when I start a download it stops working, I tried everything. Changed channel, channel width.

When setting up your Tenda Wi-Fi router, you may be asked to enter a default password. The default password is the one that comes with the router when you first purchase it. If you’ve changed your password, then the default password will no longer work. The default Tenda Wi-Fi router password is usually “admin” (without quotes).

I was able to install network-manager and initiate the connection to my WiFi. But then it stops working, reboot, unplug and reset the wifi connection somehow makes it work, at least I see it, but it actually does not work. I cannot connect via SSH or even Ping the WiFi Interface, can you?
I'm not sure if this is any help, however I am using 22.04.1 Server. I am using a built in wi-fi card and I am connected. However in the GUI it does not show me using wi-fi according to the icon and the drop down. This is what my interfaces look like:

So i just installed Manjaro KDE fresh, but it's not recognizing my wifi adapter. For the record I'm using a netgear a6210 adapter. I type "ip link" in the terminal and it doesn't show up at all, though. Yet, it is listed if I type in "lsusb -v." Similarly if I type in "inxi -F" it does show up there as as well, though it's state is N/A, as well BSnvD9j.
